Welcome to the CDS!

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Centers for Digital Scholarship!

The formal launch event will be held on Monday November 4, as part of the Fall Welcome co-sponsored by the Digital Scholarship Group and the NULab for Digital Humanities and Computational Social Science, led off by a keynote presentation by Professor Margaret Burnham.

This launch marks the middle of a longer start-up process. Many of Northeastern’s digital projects have already taken up residence in the CDS, and have been starting to meet and use the space. That move-in process will continue through the fall as we put the finishing touches on our shared lab spaces, equipment, and facilities. We’re planning events—workshops, transcribathons, presentations, and more—that we can’t wait to share. And we look forward to bringing together projects and research teams from across Northeastern’s digital community.
