Using the Space

The Large Collaboration Space is an open gathering space with couch seating for 20 and a large wall-mounted whiteboard. This space is ideal for open project meetings, collaborative work, brown-bag lunches, and informal presentations. A Teams cart is available when data projection is needed for meetings.This space is bookable by CDS affiliates.

The Graduate Student Collaboration Space is an open gathering space with chair seating for 8-10 around configurable tables, with a large wall-mounted whiteboard and some additional soft seating, and a small open storage unit for books and other materials. This space is intended for use by the community of graduate students working in digital humanities and related areas, as a space for meeting, collaboration, study, and relaxation. Students have priority in this space but if it’s empty, anyone is welcome to use it. A Teams cart is available when data projection is needed for meetings. This space is bookable by CDS graduate students.

The small collaboration space is an open gathering space with chair seating for 8-10 around configurable tables, with a large wall-mounted whiteboard and some additional soft seating. This space is ideal for smaller project meetings, collaborative work, or quiet study and reading. A Teams cart is available when data projection is needed for meetings. This space is for walk-in use only.

The kitchen space is an open gathering space with chairs, couches, and tables. This space is for walk-in use only. This space is a great place for eating, socializing, relaxing, and sharing snacks!

The Symposium and Conference Room (Snell 350A) is a large presentation room seating 50-75 with data projection; this space can be configured for large events with theater seating, or for seminars with tables and chairs in various arrangements. This space can be booked through the CDS coordinator for large events such as conferences, symposia, and large workshops.
