Digital Practice Workshop Series: Digitization

For many digital scholarship research projects one of the first steps is digitizing analog and paper materials. Managing the digitization well is crucial to a successful digital project. Kim Kennedy, the Digital Production Librarian, will provide a hands-on workshop on digitizing analog and paper materials. Come hear how the library can help support your digitization plans and needs, as well as some of the interesting work of the Library’s Digital Production Services.

This event is part of the 2025–2026 Digital Practice Workshop Series! This inter-disciplinary collaboration highlights various aspects of digital practice, such as restorative metadata, digitization best practices, accessibility, and digital archiving. This discussion-oriented workshop series is aimed at faculty, staff, and students that are a part of the broader DH community at Northeastern.
